Dr. Krishna earned a bachelor’s degree in life sciences from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and graduated cum laude with his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in the West Indies, Grenada. He then completed his internal medicine residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.
A member of the American College of Physicians and the Gold Humanism Honor Society, Dr. Krishna specializes in providing comprehensive care to hospitalized patients. He most recently completed his training in ambulatory and medical intensive care while gaining experience in various subspecialties, including cardiology, hematology/oncology, infectious diseases and emergency medicine, among others. He also recently completed and published research on obliterating bronchiolitis as a result of iron pill aspiration.
Dr. Krishna joins the team of board-certified physicians at Lexington Hospitalists to provide comprehensive inpatient care at Lexington Medical Center. These specially trained physicians reflect the hospital’s commitment to offering advanced medicine and compassionate care to patients while they are in the hospital.
